Julian Daniel Julian Daniel

Julian Daniel is a 20-year-old pop singer from Toronto, Canada. He grew up in a musical household which helped develop his passion for music early on. He was involved in a variety of different activities including, musical theatre, vocal lessons and dance. His sound has been described as an up-beat pop sound with rock and electronic elements.

Taking a very hands-on approach to his career, Daniel contributes his unique talents from graphic design, to music and fashion to build his unique image and sound. What you see and hear is 100% authentic and creatively controlled by Daniel himself.

Daniel’s latest single “Courtney Love,” released via Shoes in Dryer Records, is filled with ominous layers that slowly builds over the course of the track. About a girl who leaves him feeling toxic, Daniel’s soulful vocals really delivers. Packed with dark riffs, moody synths and even elements of orchestral strings, the vibes on this track can get heavy. But what really carries the song forward is Daniel’s undeniable talent as a singer. His voice brimming with distorted effects will really speak to listeners who’ve been in a destructive relationship and have lived to tell the tale. I loved the overall gritty mood of this track. It gives new meaning to “uncompromising love.”

Daniel was met with the recent success of his first EP titled E Boy appearing on New Music Friday US, Canada as well as Spotify’s It’s A Bop and Pop Sauce. The artist is steadily making a name for himself and is obviously going places with his sound. The brand-new year brings new possibilities for Daniel. Stay tuned to see what he has in store for listeners in the upcoming months!
