Multifaceted artist Macey Estes is constantly finding new ways to express herself musically. Known for coloring outside of the lines through the pop and R&B sector, Estes has been compared to R&B artists like Kehlani. The LA-transplant is turning heads with her irresistible synth melodies. Add her sultry vocals, smooth delivery and relatable lyricisms to the mix and you get something wholly original and unique. With topics like mental health, heartbreak and self-worth, Estes is unafraid to tackle weighty subject matters in her songwriting process. She keeps things relevant and relatable with a sound that packs in an accessible vibe, maintaining a familiar yet fresh feel.

“Wreck It All” is a song featured off of her debut EP Save Yourself currently out now. The track totally flips the script on the conventional songwriting route and is about struggling with the feelings of being the toxic person in relationships. The serious lyrics aside, the music is an upbeat, fun track overflowing with Estes’ refreshing vocals and delivery. She really adds her own flavoring of R&B and pop going on to blur genres and redefine the aforementioned umbrellas.

Influenced by artists like jessie Revez, Niomza, Alessia Cara and H.E.R., Estes really brings it with a sound packed with honesty, grit and attitude. You can expect more great things from the artist. Save Yourself, the debut EP by Macey Estes, released via Coastal Artists, is currently available everywhere!
