David Pollack

David Pollack Tour

The smooth melodic soul of David Pollack's voice has literally been 'crashing the loss of sound' across the U.S, which is fittingly the title of his current tour an title of his upcoming single 'Crashing Through A Loss Of Sound'.  One browse/stream through his soundcloud will have you in a suprisingly unresistable groove - a fresh sound to vibe to.

David Pollack's recent single, 'I Saw Your Future', has a great story to it. (Cover Art below)

Collaborating with his friend Lionel Lombard, who, while traveling in Bolivia, wrote this song about a friend who was struggling with Alcohol Addiction, this project ended up being a very well executed collaboration between a group of talented individuals.

1. Lionel wrote up the lyrics and sent it to David,

2. Who then wrote the music for it,

3. Which was then produced by Phillipe Lanchance from Montreal Quebec,

4. Which was then mastered by Joao Carvalho from Toronto.

Below is the soundcloud project that song is on and the video for it.

“The neo-soul is STRONG with this quintet — watching them onstage (and they're definitely a live band) is an education in peristalsis as each of them extracts nutrients from the sound. Their fundamental affection for Elliott Smith and Wilco shines through in both the steady-eyed, phrase-conscious songcraft and the lid-bursting turns of filigree. More often than not, however, the ensemble kinks into hyperspatial, cardinal modes: D'Angelo (harmony like roux; telepathic rhythm), St. Vincent (secret, sur-pop dance; pedaled leads that nonetheless feel absolutely naked), and many more. Together they declare a project in psychedelic soul, a chamber concern with no small share in the sincere. Hear their debut album “Loves You” at Madam West.” - Pete Longofono, BIG FIGMENT (Source: Madamwest.com)

Madam West writes driving, tightly-arranged songs from the intersection of mind and gut. Here are grooves to match your exquisite hips to, and characters to love or hate with equal parts gusto. If you listen closely, you'll detect odd chords to nod in or out of accord with, shiny synths and loops to wrap your brain around, and a few vocal leaps of faith.

The debut LP "Loves You", the EP (not pictured), and a compilation of singles are available for purchase and download at Madam West's Bandcamp. (Source: Bandcamp)

Apeman's sound evokes the melodies, textures and rhythms of rock and roll over the course of its evolution. Pindhurst Farms

Pindhurst Farms

"You probably have a lot of questions surrounding the name ‘Pindhurst Farms.’ Well, our answer to any of those would simply be, use your imagination. The Long Island based band was officially formed in spring 2011 by Jeff Johnson and Drew Pouliot as a jam/indie/pop project. The band was soon joined by Drummer Jenna Noe. After some time, bassist Pouliot, had stepped up to guitar and the band then obtained bassist Nicole Lovisa. By Taking inspiration from rock, pop, and ska music and mixing in a jam aspect, Pindhurst Farms has created a sound that sets them apart from other bands today" - Pindhurst Farms
