My path to becoming an Eagle Scout greatly developed a strong connection to nature, and drives a passion for sustainability in architecture. I am currently studying for and intend to take the LEED AP exam for Building Design and Construction in the summer of 2014. Additionally, I am sharing leadership of an intercollegiate, interdisciplinary team working on an entry to the Department of Energy's 2015 Solar Decathlon.
My experience as an instructor for multiple rock climbing facilities and high and low ropes courses has solidified an ability to work cohesively with teams and demonstrate strong leadership and problem solving skills.
Photography is a true passion in my free time; I have 4 years worth of DSLR photography experience and course work that has culminated into becoming an independent and a contract photographer, providing professional quality digital and framed prints to over 100 clients."
"I started this shindig in 2011 and haven't looked back since!...Weddings, couples, photography, conceptual art, and even fashion are all things that are full steam ahead!"
I use a Canon EOS 40D with a 28-135mm lens. I consider myself a "realist" photographer, meaning that I will not use programs like Photoshop to enhance my photos. I want to present the world as it looks. While post-processed, color enhanced photos look great, that's not how they look in real life. I work really hard to ensure that my best photography needs no help from computer programs, and I hope you all appreciate the sense of reality captured in my photography. Take a look around and let me know what you think.
Feedback is one of the most important tools a photographer can employ, and I welcome any and all you care to share with me. Enjoy, and have a wonderful day!
